My favorite 80's cartoons:

Ulysse 31 - An awsome cartoon series based on the Greek mythology.

Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors - Awsome plant monsters that turn into cars!! .

Robotech - This is probably the best example of SciFI Anime. Still has a big fan base. An epic tale about humans fighting off a mighty alien race called the Zentradie.

Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future - An awesome live action series, where a group of soldiers fight of a maschine dystopia. It featured 3D animations and was way ahead of its time.

Macron One - Orginally called GoShogun. A team with a big robot fights off evil dictators and their henchmen.

Captain Future - This is the German version as it was the only one I ever knew, but looking at all the other versions I still think the German one rocks the most!.
